cell background image dreamweaver

Hi

I am struggling with something that should be very simple. I have a
simple table that is split up into cells, one large one across the top
and three
columns below. I have given the large one across the top a background
image and this image can be seen in the design window however when I
press F12 to view in a browser the image is not there. I am pulling
my hair out because I am sure this is something really obvious and I am
going to say doh!! when I find out .

A URL would be helpful, but the most obvious things to look for are:

Path: is the image in the correct path eg: folder/image.png
Path delimiter: / not \
Case sensitivity: some servers are case sensitive so Image.png is not
image.PNG
